Testing Step 1: Download the provided files below (Student Data, Teacher Data, Class Data, and Something Pandas)

Testing Step 2: In your file manager, find the program in your downloads folder, right click and extract the Master Schedule Builder zip file. If you can’t find the extract button, then click on the file and an extract button should appear at the top of the file manager

Testing Step 3: If properly extracted, the application will have the .exe extension, and have one of the the following icons: or

Testing Step 4: Double click on the exe file. If the program is flagged by windows defender, click “more info” and “run anyway”

Testing Step 5: There may be a long pause between the console popping up and the GUI loading. If you see a large black box and no GUI, just wait

Testing step 6: If you are using provided files, disregard the checklist

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

The provided file runs a conflict matrix for optimized results. Once you press the “run” button found within GUI the program itself, it will become unresponsive. The length of this state is proportional to the number of students. With the provided data sets, your program will be unresponsive for a minimum of 30 minutes. The runtime depends on the size of your dataset, and the speed of your computer’s processor.
